Ok. I do understand the quote. You can never go back in time, never get a second chance to do the same thing over.
BUT... I hope it is possible for me to learn from past mistakes and try to do better the next time a similar situation comes around.
Specifically, I hope I can learn to have a HEALTHY relationship with a man. So far, it has proved to be the one thing I absolutely cannot do well.
Recently Michael and I went through a difficult time. (We have been dating since January of this year.)
I was considering ending the relationship. But I asked him if he would like to try to make things better, and he says, "We can try."
Wish me luck THIS TIME.
Sigh.
